Obituary for John Bubba Bessinger
John “Bubba” Bessinger, 83, passed away on January 24, 2018 at the Laurel Baye Healthcare of Williston SC.
Bubba was born on September 29, 1934 in Bamberg County. He was a son of the late William Henry and Bertha Hulst Bessinger. He was a retired employee of the Edisto Electric Coop. and a member of Mount Lebanon Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday January 28, 2018 in the Mount Lebanon Christian Church at 2:00PM with Rev Ron Franklin and Rev. John Jerkins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the services.
Survivors include two daughters, Michele (Jayson McKelvey) Bessinger of Carlsbad Ca. and Jan(Clint) Lott of Williston SC; grandsons, Justin, Jasper, Jeb, Josiah and Joseph Lott of Williston SC; brothers, Gene (Irene) Bessinger, Jimmy (Debra) Bessinger and James (Cheryl) Bessinger of Barnwell SC; sisters, Willie Jean Freeman, Linda ( Julian) Baxley and Jeanette Brant of Barnwell SC. He was predeceased by Evelyn Cook, Dora Mitchum and Marguerite Mitchum.
