Obituary for John Rice Still
John Rice Still, 82, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at his home.
John Rice was born in Bamberg County on September 27, 1936 and was a son of the late Toy and Magalene Carroll Still. He was a retired employee of the City of Barnwell water Dept. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and the Hilda Masonic Lodge. John Rice was a loving husband, father, Papa and friend, he will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 12 noon in the Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Hardin, Rev. Don Prevatt, Rev. George Still, and Rev. Farrell Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Masonic Rites accorded. Visitation will be held at 11 am until the hour of service in the church.
Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Williams Still of Barnwell; daughter, Belva Still Price (Stacey) Owens of Blackville; son, John Terry (Margie) Still of Phillipsburg Montana; brother, Caney (Diana) Still of Barnwell; six grandchildren, Jacob (Amanda) Price, Jennifer Still, Rachel (Kevin) Dickerson Sr., Alex Still Rosie still and Kenny Bauer; great grandchildren, Landon “Tornado” Price and Kevin “Fireball” Dickerson Jr. He was also predeceased by brothers, James, Redden, Floyd, Leroy and Joe Willie Still.
