Joyce Goode Grimes, 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 4, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Joyce was born in Toccoa GA on December 10, 1943. She was a daughter of the late Owen K. and Thelma Poole Goode. She was a member of the Barnwell First Baptist Church and retired as Medical Records Director at the Barnwell Co. Hospital. She was an active volunteer with the Reunion of the Sixties and was a member of the Ishbibilys. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 11am in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rommie Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell Co. Memorial Cemetery at the airport. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 am until 10:50 am.
Survivors include her loving husband, Robert “Bob” Grimes of Barnwell; son, Richard “Rick” Grimes of Barnwell; daughter, Sharon (Robert) Colcolough of Fair Play SC; grandson, Austin T. Colcolough of Fair Play SC; sisters, Linda (Charles) Renew of Columbia SC and Trisha (Harold) Keel of Barnwell.
