Obituary for Rachel Kennedy Saunders
Rachel Kennedy Saunders, 87 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 9, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Rachel was born on September 20, 1929 in Barnwell County. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin William and Lilly Kennedy. She was a retired employee of the Barnwell Co. Hospital. She will always be remembered for her sweet smile and loving nature. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday, June 12, 2017 in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheryl S. ay of Hilda; her sister, Bonnie K Hilmer of Elko; fifteen grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Elbert and Donnie Saunders
