Ronnie Hammond Carroll, 76, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at his home in Barnwell.
Ronnie was born on August 24, 1941 in Barnwell, SC, he was the son of the late Marvin and Thelma Bodiford Carroll. He was a retired truck driver with the Savannah River Plant and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 2:00PM in Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Dean Deer and Rev. Dale Hutto officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30PM until time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 8744 Marlboro Ave., Barnwell, SC 29812
Survivors include his wife Claire Rosier Carroll of the home, daughters, Rhonda (Carl) Weaver of Goose Creek, SC, Sheila (Roger) Folk of Barnwell, and Sheryl (Paul) Kinard of Snelling, brother Ed Carroll of Barnwell, grandchildren, Craig (Crystal) Rosier of Monks Corner, Brannon (Kevin) Faulkner of Hickory Grove, Jason Folk of Jacksonville, Jameson (Jodie) Folk of Ridgeland, Jennifer Kinard of Barnwell, and Daniel Kinard of Barnwell and 7 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings, Albert Carroll Katherine Cheek and Betsy Grubbs.
