Obituary for Anera Woods Langford
Mrs. Anera Woods Langford, 91, widow of John Wesley Langford Jr. passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Mrs. Langford was born on December 10, 1924 in Savannah Georgia. She was the daughter of the late James Lee and Anna McBride Woods. She was a homemaker and member of the Barnwell United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday in the Barnwell United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery on Hagood Ave. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services in the sanctuary of the church. Memorials may be made to the Barnwell United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund. Survivors include her two sons, Johnny Langford and Barry (Penny) Langford of Barnwell; grandsons, James Anderson Langford and William Bryson Langford of Barnwell. She was also predeceased by her brother Keith Woods and special cousin, James Harold Nettles.
