Obituary for Ann Morris
Ann Harriott Morris passed away peacefully April 14,2023 at Shadow Oaks Assisted Living. She was born January 10, 1940 in Brunson, SC to Rudolph “Dock” and Sadie Gooding Harriott.
She is survived by her daughter, Jan Morris Carpenter, Aiken; grandson, Terry (Tina) Carpenter, Aiken; great granddaughter, Trinity Carpenter, Aiken; sister, Mary Rahn, Islandton, SC; several nieces and nephews; special son Billy (Mary Ann) Laurey; her furbaby PeeWee and granddog Toby. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 61 years, Jimmie Morris, and son-in law Pete Carpenter.
Ann was the bookkeeper at Chappell Farms for over 30 years where she was treated like family. In retirement, her happy place was sitting on the screen porch at Edisto Beach watching the birds and the people on the bike path. She was a wonderful cook and loved to be in the kitchen. She loved to make jelly and pickles and Christmas goodies. She enjoyed her community and her Church and loved to share the things she made.

Services will be held at Kline Baptist Church on Saturday, April 29 at 11:00. Interment will follow at the Kline Baptist Church Cemetery. Lunch will be provided at the Church following the services.
