Obituary for Bertun "Bert" Fail
Bertun "Bert" Fail, 91, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bert was born in Barnwell County on May 19, 1924. He was a son of the late Aaron and Aileen Simmons Fail. He was married to the late Veta Morris Fail. He was a retired truck driver for SRP and a farmer. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Bert was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 At 4 pm in the Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Rommie Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening at Mole Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. Survivors include his children, Herbert T. (Sylvia) Fail, Pearlie Jean (JR) Allen, Steve Fail and Mike (Sharon) Fail; nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. He was also predeceased by a son, Wayne Fail, a granddaughter Sheryl Allen and a brother AL Fail.
