Obituary for Betty "Sug" Edwards
Betty C. “Sug” Edwards, 75, passed away on Tuesday, August 15,2017 in the St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah Georgia surrounded by her loving family.
Sug was born in Savannah on April 21, 1942 and was a daughter of the late Wylie and Julia Crosby LeGrand. She was a retired employee of the SC Department of Social Services Barnwell Office. She was a member of Seven Pines Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 22, 2017 at 10 am in the Seven Pines Baptist Church, Snelling SC with Pastor Mark Watford and Rev. Billy Mew officiating. Visitation will be held from 7-9 pm on Monday at Mole Funeral Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan (Segal) Glisson of Claxton GA and Leesa (Kenny) Moore of Port Wentworth GA.; two sons, Dewayne (Casey) Edwards of El Paso, Texas and John (Kerri) Edwards of Lexington SC; Grandchildren, Bendi (Adran) West, Jamey Glisson, Candace Edwards, Tayler Moore, Chandler Moore, Garrett Moore, Julia Moore, Reagan Edwards, Alexandra Edwards, Jesilyn Edwards and Kaleb Edwards; great grandchildren, Tanslei Lupton, and Harper West.
