Obituary for Betty Harley Gantt
Barnwell SC Betty Harley Gantt, 79, of the Boiling Springs community passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014. Betty was born in Barnwell County on August 24, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Alex and Mattie Ray Harley. She was a former employee of J.P. Stevens and Whitlock Combing Co. She was a member of the Boiling Springs Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Boiling Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday at Mole Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. Survivors include her daughters, Ellen (Jose) Flores and Frances Gantt of Barnwell; brother, J.C. Harley of Barnwell; sister, Mary Harley Fail of Olar; grandchildren, Leslie Flores, Christina Flores Cahuich and Natasha Williams; great grandchildren, Zachary and Ian Roberts. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard L Gantt and siblings, Cap L Harley, Esley Harley, Barbara Creech, Joyce Bodiford and Eva Brown.
