Obituary for Betty Hoover kinard
Mrs. Betty Hoover Kinard, 79, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Aiken Regional Medical Center. Betty was born on September 16, 1933 in Barnwell SC. She was the daughter of the late Carrie Hoover. She was a graduate of Barnwell High School and retired as a financial manager of Barclay's American, Barnwell office and formerly had worked with the South Carolina Highway Department. She was a member of the Barnwell First Baptist Church where she served for fifteen years as leader of "The Young at Heart Group". She especially enjoyed planning trips for them. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday, September 2, 2013 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell Co. Memorial Cemetery at the airport. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Sunday evening at Mole Funeral Home. Survivors include her daughter, Jeanna Kinard of Barnwell; two grandchildren, Franklin "Rich" Kinard of Barnwell and Joy Kinard of New York; great grandchildren, Coehn Kinard, Paxton, Payton and Preston Hartzog. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Kinard and son, Richard "Ricky" Kinard.
