Obituary for Billy David "PeeWee" Beasley
Billy David “Peewee” Beasley, 69, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018 in the University Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Billy was born in Kathwood SC, a son of the late Joseph and Ruby Prince Beasley. He was a retired E & I Mechanic with the Savannah River Site. Billy attended the Williston Presbyterian Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in the Williston Presbyterian Church with Dr. Beth Yarborough officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery by the airport. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Mole Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Sample Beasley of Barnwell, sons, Brandon Beasley of Barnwell and Joseph “Joey” Beasley of Columbia SC; daughter, Billie Jo (Travis) Croft of Barnwell; stepsons, Douglas Duncan of Clarksville TN and Aaron Duncan of Sierra Vista Az.; brother, Jack (Aley) Beasley of Red Springs NC; sisters, Brenda Beasley McLaughlin and Ellen Beasley Spitzer of Barnwell; 13 grandchildren and 0ne great grandchild. He was also predeceased by a brother, Pete Beasley.
