Obituary for Blondell Still Black
Blondell S. Black, 81, of Barnwell County, SC passed away October 9, 2015 at her home surrounded be her loving family and close friends. She was the daughter of the late Corrie and Lewis Still, and the wife of the late Ralph M. Black of 52 years, Ms. Black was a devoted Christian, daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a homemaker and shared in the family farm. She loved her family, friends, fishing, gardening, cooking, and playing cards. Ms. Black is survived by her three children, Danny (Debra) Black of Barnwell, Linda (Perry) Scruggs of Barnwell County, and Jamie (Melissa) Black of Lexington, eight grandchildren, Brandon Scruggs, Tristan Scruggs, Jesse Scruggs, Jared Black, Jana Black, Jayson Black, Trevor Black, and Michael Black, a brother, Lewis Emmett Still, and many loving nieces and nephews, especially the triplets Rex, Max, and Ray. Ms. Black was predeceased by her parents, husband, infant son, Bob, a brother, and sister. The family would like to thank all her special caregivers, medical staff, Care South Hospice, and especially Ms. May Holder, who spent many days and nights caring for Ms. Black. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 2:00PM in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. David Turner and Rev. Max Llewellyn officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County memorial Cemetery by the airport. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Monday evening at Mole Funeral Home. The family request the memorial be made to the charity of one's choice.
