Obituary for Brenda Kay Baxley
Brenda Kay Baxley, 73, passed away December 18, 2023 in Barnwell, SC.
Born in Barnwell County on January 26, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Benson and Hattie Rowell Baxley. Brenda was a very dedicated teacher, who taught throughout her career in several school districts, before retiring from Barnwell County High School.
Brenda is survived by a niece, Jana (Michael) Wood of Texas, a nephew, Ronnie Baxley Jr. of Barnwell, great niece, Ella Ann Cryer of Texas, cousin, Allen Baxley, sister-in-law, Marleen Baxley, aunts, Katherine Boyd, Ann Waldrop, and Gwendolyn Hutto, uncle, Robert Hilliard. She was predeceased by a brother Ronnie Baxley.
Funeral Services will be held in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023 at 12:00 PM, with a visitation held one hour prior to the service. The family would like to give a special thank you to Judith and Wilmer Collins and also Neil Collins.
