Obituary for Carroll Blease Zissette
Carroll Blease Zissette, 77, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 after a brave battle with Parkinson's disease. Carroll was born in Bamberg County on June 9, 1936. He was a son of the late Robbie and Adeline Carroll Zissette. He was predeceased by his wives, Mae Harriett Fields Zissette and Peggy Hair Zissette and a son Gehry Kevin "Bucky" Zissette He retired as park ranger at the Barnwell State Park with 30 years' service. He was a member of Blackville Masonic Lodge #63 and honorary member of Harmony Masonic Lodge #17 of Barnwell. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, March 22, 2014 in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with masonic rites accorded. Visitation will be held hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson Foundation, 1501 North West 9thAve.Bob Hope Rd. Miami Fl. 33136. Survivors include two sons, Daryl (Lynnell) Zissette of Denmark and Keith (Lisa) Zissette of Barnwell; brother, Emory (Louise) Zissette of Charlotte NC; sister, Wilhelmina Z. Sox of Lexington; step sons, Brian (Karen) Baumer and Craig (Margaret) Baumer; 10 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his loving friend Louise Fields.
