Obituary for Cecille Brant Bennett
Olar, SC Mrs. Cecille Brant Bennett, 89, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Bennett was born in Allendale County on November 18, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Zimmie and Ella Bazzle Brant. She retired as assistant postmaster with US Post Office in Denmark SC. She was a member of the garden club and the Olar First Baptist Church where she was an active member until her illness. She had served as Children's Sunday school superintendent and a member of the WMU. She was the former owner of The Linda Shop. She was an excellent gardener and a wonderful cook. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed by all. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 2:00pm at the Olar First Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Terry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 between the hours of 6-8 pm at Mole Funeral Home, Barnwell, SC. The family suggest that memorials be made to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, www.Nationalmssociety.org or 704-612-2702. Survivors include her loving husband, JE "JEB" Bennett Sr. of Olar SC.; son, JE (Gail) Bennett Jr. of Ladysmith VA.; daughters, Linda B. Maddox of McBean GA., Nadine Louise Nitsch of North Augusta SC.; grandchildren, Todd Bennett, Michael Bennett, Sara Bennett,Beth Mancuso and Stephen Willis, great grandchildren, Camden and Megan Mancuso.
