Clarence Marvin “C.J.” Jones, 87 went to meet his Lord on Friday, June 25,2021.
C.J. was born in Portsmouth Ohio on September 24, 1933 and was a son of the late Daniel Vaughn Jones and Gretta Dorton Jones. He was a sign artist and owned the Jones Sign Co. until his retirement. He was a faithful member of the Barnwell United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Survivors include his loving wife, Judith Munn Jones; daughter, Cynthia Jones (John) Sprague; sons, Dwight David Jones and James Michael Jones; brother Harold Jones and sister, Betty Jones Bibbey, 8 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son John Russell Jones.
Memorials may be made to the Barnwell United Methodist Church, Box 126, Barnwell SC 29812 or The Epworth Children’s Home. No formal services will be held at this time. Mole Funeral Home is assisting the family with these services.
