Obituary for Cora Lee Rountree Bragg
Cora Lee Rountree Bragg, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4,2020.
Mrs. Bragg was born in Barnwell SC on December 17, 1941 and was a daughter of the late Kite and Sallie Mae Atkinson Rountree. She was a former employee of J.P. Stevens Inc. and a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 3:00PM in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery at the airport. The family will receive friends after the services at the cemetery.
Survivors include her children, Ronny (Sissy) Bragg of Williston, Belinda (Johnnie) Sanders of Lexington and Connie Bragg of Aiken; brother, Perry Rountree of Barnwell; sisters Mary Lee (James) Plunk and Marie Rountree of Barnwell; grandchildren, Drs. Johnnie Joel (Tatiana) Sanders III, Mitchell Kory (Jessie) Sanders, Kirsten Paige Sanders, Dale Bragg and William “Bill”(Payton) Bragg; great-grandchildren, Teagan, Easton, Talan and Jase. She was predeceased by her beloved husband William Furman (Bill) Bragg and a sister Rachel Rountree Sargent.
