Obituary for Dave Nelson Hiers
Dave Nelson Hiers, 74, left this world on February 7, 2025. He wanted to leave thanking God for all his kindness, and to remind those left in this world of the fact that God is love! "What you are currently experiencing is only a lesson to expand your faith. If you want to remember me, do some random act of kindness for a stranger and tell them about me. I leave you in God's hands and with my continued love for you."
Dave is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Elaine (Riley) Hiers; his daughter Jennifer (Thomas) Pinckney, his son Michael (Annah) Hiers, his grandchildren Tommy and Aurielle Pinckney, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Ruby Hiers; his brothers Herman, John Rowe, and Rudy Hiers, and his sister Jeannie Pryor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Mt. Arnon Baptist Church, 3358 Barnwell Hwy., Allendale, SC 29810.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13th, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Mole Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel. His dear friend Pastor Deanie Hutto will officiate. A private family burial will follow.
The family wishes to thank Agape Hospice, Mr. Maurice Walker, and all the loved ones who surrounded them with care and lifted them in prayers during Dave's illness. May God bless you.
