Obituary for Deborah Owens Knowles
Deborah “Debbie” Owens Knowles, 55, passed away on October 19th, 2023. She was born on March 21st, 1968 in Barnwell, SC to the late Frank and Annette Dyches Owens.
She was a member of Ashleigh Baptist Church. She loved her flower garden, and had a natural green thumb. She loved to fish and cook. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Scotty Knowles of Barnwell; daughter Kimberly Diane Knowles of Barnwell; brothers Laverne Owens, Randy Owens, and Terry Owens; sister Lynn (Butch) Diehl of Barnwell; grandchildren Gracie Owens, Kaylee Owens, Leah Owens, and Daisy Mae Knowles; nieces and nephews who called her Aunt DeeDee; as well as her furry friend, Little Bit. She was preceded in death by her sister, Frankie Fulmer.
A memorial service will be held on October 28th, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Seven Pines Baptist Church. Pastor Mark Watford will be officiating. The family will greet guests after the service at the church.
