Obituary for Donald Edward Odom
Donald Edward “Donnie” Odom unexpectedly passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Aiken Regional Medical Center after a brief illness following a planned procedure.
Donnie was born January 27, 1959 in Marietta, Georgia to Shirley Atkins and the late Jerry Odom. He was an avid fisherman, self taught carpenter and mechanic, and enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Jacque, the mothers of his children, Doris and Shirley, two sons, Alex (Sarah), Malcolm (Jen), three daughters, Crystal (Anthony), Evie Jo , Shannon, and his many grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Teri, his twin brother, Ronnie(DeeDee), as well as his many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Shriner Children’s Hospital in Donnie’s memory.
