Blackville SC Please use Lynn Elkins for the obit list Dorothy Lynn Elkins, 53, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. Lynn was born at Fort Bragg NC on November 17,1961. She was a daughter of Leighton and Dorothy Huffman Elkins. She was a graduate of Blackville- Hilda High School. She was a retired clerk at Bi-Rite in Barnwell and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Ghents Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Rommie Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Wednesday at Mole Funeral Home. Memorials may be made in Lynn's name to the Ghents Branch Baptist Church Building Fund or the Charity of one's choice. Survivors include her parents, Leighton and Dorothy Elkins of Blackville SC; sisters. Debbie (Carlton) Owens Blackville SC, Beverly (Jimmy) Castro of Aiken SC, Marian (Leonard) Collins of Sylvania GA, Brenda (Darryl) Ferrarro of Appling GA and Connie (Henry) Moore of Aiken SC; one aunt and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
