Dorothy LyNell Still Jackson, 72, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Dorothy was born in Barnwell on November 3, 1946 to Minnie S. Still and the late James Still. She was a home maker and a member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Monday, November 26 at Reedy Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Ted Still and Rev. Harry Warren officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family visitation will be held one hour before the services in the church.
Survivors include her children, James (Stacy) Jackson, Sr. and Jeffery (Judy) Jackson; grandchildren, James (Katelyn) Jackson, Jr., Justine Jackson, Samantha Jackson, Austin Jackson Cheyenne Jackson and Kari (Josh) Lott, Joe (Morgan) Still; Four great grandchildren; mother, Minnie Still; sister, Barbara (Wilton) Gleaton. She was predeceased by her loving husband, David L. Jackson.
