Obituary for Edna Brantley
Edna Brantley passed away June 7 at her home in Barnwell. Edna was born November 3,1934 in Dunn NC. She was predeceased by her mother Ethel Hodges Edna was known by many in the community as a result of her years of working at Walmart. She was an avid bird watcher and loved to plant flowers. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Barnwell. She is survived by a Brother, Pete Hodges ( his wife Judy) of Cary NC. Two sons, Jim Brantley ( Lisa) of Mt. Pleasant SC and Gary Brantley (Robin) of Barnwell. She has two grandchildren, Jack Brantley (14) of Mt Pleasant, SC and Mattison Brantley(20) of Barnwell. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in the Barnwell First Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Keith Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church chapel. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery by the airport
