Obituary for Edward Dean Tubbs
Edward Dean Tubbs, 64, passed away on Tuesday, December 4,2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Edward was born in Syracuse N.Y. on October 16, 1954 and was a son of Arnold Ray Tubbs Sr. and step mother Mary Tubbs and the late Sarah Compton Tubbs. He retired from the US Army as a SGT E6 with 20 years service and from Energy Solutions Security Department with 25 years service.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 7,2018 at 3 pm in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bert Baynham officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memory Gardens with Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday evening at Mole Funeral Home.
He is survived by a son James Edward (Kimberly) Tubbs of Williston, daughter Rebecca Ruth Tubbs of Williston, grandchildren, Chyanna, Jacelyn and Alexa Tubbs, brothers Roy, Layton, Peter, Danny, and Ricky Tubbs, sister Carolyn Gentile, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Kathy Tubbs and a grandchild, Dakota Tubbs.
