Obituary for Elizabeth Padgett Knopf
Elizabeth Padgett Knopf, 90, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday October 13,2021.
Mrs. Elizabeth was born in Bamberg County on October 1,1931. She was a daughter of the late Shelley and Gertrude “Gertie” Wood Padgett. She was a homemaker and seamstress. She was a member of the George’s Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Elizabeth was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and great great grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends
A graveside service will be held on Saturday October 16,2021 at 2 pm in the George’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Marshall Still and Rev. Timmy Gunnells officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday evening at the Mole Funeral Home from 6-8 pm.
Survivors include her daughters, Susie K. Adcock of Ballentine SC, Betty Knopf Beard and Shelby Anne Knopf of Olar SC; her sister, Annette Padgett of Bamberg; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 6 great- great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Myer R. Knopf, sons, Jimmy and Ronnie Knopf; brothers John Henry and George Padgett, sister, Julie Dell Padgett, and a grandson, David Miller. The family would like to say thank you to Dr. Rodney Rhinehart, Laura Hawsey NP, Luis Vega MD, The Caregivers @ the Allendale County Hospital, Kindred Home Care and a very special thanks to Summer Williamson RN for the love and care shown their mother.
