Emperor William (Bill) Moody, Jr., 66, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023.
Bill was born on July 14, 1956 in Allendale County, SC to the late Emperor William and Shirley Stanton Moody Sr. He was a retired Correctional Officer with the South Carolina Department of Corrections and a United States ARMY Veteran. Bill was a member the Blue Ridge View Baptist Church of Pickens, SC. He loved the outdoors, was a very giving man who never met a stranger, and always did for others before himself. He was a loving father and husband and will be missed by many.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 1:00PM in the Barnwell County Memory Gardens with Dr. Bart Kelley officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM – 12:45 PM at Mole Funeral Home on Saturday.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Amanda Renee (Paul) Moody of Easley, SC; a brother Jim (Terry) Moody of Pickens, SC; sister Naomi Defrenn of Barnwell; and a niece Kimberly (Donnie) Mayhall.
