Obituary for Ethel Mae Sanders
Ethel Mae Sanders, 102, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016 in Pruitt Healthcare, Bamberg SC. She was born on April 19, 1914 in Barnwell County and was a daughter of the late Wade Hampton and Mary Still Sanders. She was married to the late Toby J. Sanders for 73 years and predeceased by a son McGee Sanders Sr. Mrs. Ethel Mae was a homemaker and a member of Green Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a woman with a sweet spirit who loved her family dearly. She loved to cook for her family and plant a garden with vegetables and flowers with her husband. She will truly be missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in the Green Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church at 5 PM with Rev. Henry Chavis , Rev. Timmy Gunnells and Rev. Leroy Dodson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at Mole Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial s in her memory may be made to Green Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church of Barnwell SC r to Pruitt Healthcare of Bamberg SC Survivors include her son Bill G. Sanders of Barnwell; a daughter Virgie Sanders Ray of Barnwell; sister, Nell McIntosh of Hannahan SC; grandchildren, Gwen S (Bryan) Kinard, Lynn S. Willing, and Tonya S. Blume, McGee (Tabitha) Sanders Jr. and Ann Williamson; eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
