Obituary for Ethel Marie Chavis Waltz
Ethel Marie Chavis Waltz, 67, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 in Orangeburg, SC Born in Orangeburg on October 22, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Beatrice Spires Chavis. Mrs. Waltz was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Olar. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved fishing and the outdoors. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 4:00PM in Memorial Baptist Church, with Rev. Charles Mosier and Rev. Farrell Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday Evening at Mole Funeral Home. Survivors include: her husband, Leland E. Waltz Sr. of the home, son, Leland E. (Beth) Waltz, Jr of Williston, daughter Melissa (Doug) Waltz of Blackville, grandchildren, Allexus Waltz, Wesley Gunnells, and Austin Gunnells, brother, Floyd Chavis and sister, Rhonda Youmans.
