Obituary for Evelyn Black Croft
Barnwell, SC Evelyn Black Croft, 84, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Southern Palmetto Hospital. Mrs. Croft was born in Barnwell County on August 18, 1929. She was a daughter of the late Eddie and Mattie Still Black. Evelyn was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, 3 pm December 1, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Richard McWhite officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery at the airport. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6-8 pm at Mole Funeral Home. Survivors include, her daughter, Brenda (Roger) Williams of Barnwell; sister, Margie B. Folk of Blackville; brothers, Raymond (Delores) Black of Williston, Clinton (Donna) Black of Salley and Kenneth (Dot) Black of Columbia; grandchildren, Bryan (Kimberly) Williams and Crystal DeLoach of Barnwell and 5 other grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Rufus Gillie Croft, son, Terry Croft and siblings, Erlis B. Hutto, Verline B. Hutto and Curtis Black.
