Evelyn Padgett Folk Hampton, 80, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at her home in Barnwell, SC. Evelyn was born on August 16, 1925 in Barnwell County, SC. She was the daughter of the late Henry Ossie and Hattie Sue Creech Padgett. She was a retired office manager for Georgia Pacific Inc. for 32 years. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Parking Lot Fund. 5801 Friendship Rd, Barnwell, SC 29812 Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2015 at 11:00am in Friendship Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Survivors include her daughter Lisa (Greg) Foster of Midway, GA and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Franklin and Archie Lee Padgett, sisters, Mary Carroll and Mae Bodiford.
