Obituary for Florence Stevens Sanders
Florence Stevens Sanders, 81, passed away at her home on September 2,2018 surrounded by her loved ones.
Mrs. Sanders was born in Bamberg SC on October 4,1936. She was a daughter of the late William T. and Florence Heyward Stevens. She was a member of the Barnwell First Baptist Church and a former piano teacher having taught over 300 students. She was an avid bridge player. Florence was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved the company of her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11 am in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rommie Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Barnwell County Memory Gardens on Reynolds Rd. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Tuesday at Mole Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Sanders of Barnwell; daughter, Suzanne (Donnie) Renew of Barnwell; three grandchildren, Kelli Laird, Will Renew, and Holly Nguyen; great grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Hunter and Alex. The family would like to express their thanks for the love and care given by her caregivers, Michelle Sanders, Kim Gantt and Debbie Blanton.
