Garth Edwin DeFrenn, 67, of Barnwell, passed away March 23, 2021 in Orangeburg, SC.
Garth was born on December 17, 1953 in Owosso, Michigan to the late Edwin Cecil and Marilynn Pixley Defrenn. He was a self-employed mechanical engineer.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 3:00PM in the Allen’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Farrell Ray officiating. Mole Funeral Home of Barnwell is assisting the family.
Garth is survived by his loving wife, Naomi Moody DeFrenn of the home, daughters, Aleta (Josh) DeFrenn Wood of Greenville and Kimberly (Donnie) Mayhall of Fall Branch, TN, 10 grandchild, brother Bob (Shelby) DeFrenn of Gilbert, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Jason Garth DeFrenn and a sister Vickie Qualls.
