Obituary for Gerald George Sanders
Gerald George Sanders, 66, passed away on Sunday October 9, 2016 in the Lexington Medical Center. George was born in Passaic New Jersey on October 8, 1950. He was a son of the late George and Elaine Feryak Sanders. He was an employee of COPART and had served in the US Coast Guard and the Us Army. George was loved by many and made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a loving husband, friend and father to Ellen's daughter. He was also the best granddaddy to all of Tip's four legged kids. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Thursday October 13, 2016 in the Seven Pines Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church. Memorials in George's memory may be made to the Riverbanks Zoo, Columbia SC. Survivors include his daughter, Tiffany Moore; sister, Susan Sanders (Chuck) Newton; four brothers, Kurt (Karen) Sanders, Duane (Kathy) Sanders, Larry (Laurie) Sanders and Douglas Sanders; brother in laws Tim (Scottie) Moore and Donnie Thompson. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Ellen Moore and sister in law Kathryn Moore Thompson.
