Obituary for Gloria Cook Pooser
Gloria Cook Pooser, 69, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.
Gloria was born in Barnwell on June 30, 1949 and was a daughter of the late John B. Cook and Bobbie Keele Givens and step father, Jimmy Givens.She was also predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Pooser. She was a retired office manager for Morris Enterprises and a member of the Barnwell United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at a later date and will be private.
She is survived by her children, Roy H. (Shellie) Beasley Jr of Chapin SC and Terie P Laws of Swanns Island Maine; sisters, Rachel(Derrick) Hoover of Orangeburg, Teresa (Frank) Brown of Elgin and Holly (Loren) Cottrell of Merced CA; grandchildren, Jessica DeFrenn, Alex Defrenn, Jackson Laws, Cassidy Pavey and Madison Pavey; great grandson, William Cyrpess Barton.
