Obituary for Hazel Williams Laird
Hazel Williams Laird, 78, passed away on Sunday , November 7,2021 in the Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg/Calhoun Counties.
Hazel was born in Jasper County on April 13,1943 and was a daughter of the late Jones Williams and Pearl Cling Williams. She was a former employee of Milliken Inc. . Hazel was an exceptional woman with a big heart to help others in their need.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 11 am at the Barnwell County Cemetery at the airport. The family will receive friends after the services at the cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Toby (Cathy) Williams of Knoxville Tn., 3 grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Williams and William (Mary) Williams, a number of nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her son Tony (Bonnie) Laird by her siblings, Jones W. Williams Jr., Tom Williams, Louis Williams, Shirley Williams, Annie L. Williams, Bernice Cling, Elsie Carter, Mary Rogers, Mattie Wade and Lucille Russell.
