Heidi Jo Lewis, 71, passed away on June 27th, 2026. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 15th, 1954 to the late Joanne Gebert and Dewayne Gebert.
She was a woman dedicated to her chosen path, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She worked as a teacher for 30 + years at Guinyard Butler Middle School, was an Elder and past Clerk of Sessions at both Barnwell Presbyterian Church and Christ Presbyterian. She was a lifetime member of Girl Scouts with 40 + years of active service, an Events Director for the Rockton Rion and Western Railroad Museum, a theme park enthusiast, and a prodigious quilter who will keep us warm in heart, body, and soul.
She is survived by her husband David R. Lewis; daughters Jessica Lewis and Bethany Lewis; grandchildren Chloe Weaver and Robertson Weaver; as well as her siblings, Lynda Lynn and Tim Gebert.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11th, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Mole Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 2:00 PM in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tom Cuny and Rev. David Turner officiating.
