Obituary for Helen Keel Martin
Helen Lalla Keel Martin, 96, passed away on December 8th, 2022. She was born on October 12th, 1926, to the late John S. Keel and Thelma Childress Keel. She was a member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Lenna Martin Scott of Barnwell, SC; grandchildren Robert “Jorgie” Scott of Barnwell, SC; great-grandchildren Naomi Scott and Brandon Proveaux.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hayne Martin; brothers John Keel and Pinkney Keel.
A visitation will be held Monday, December 12th, 2022, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Mole Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Tuesday, December 13th, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Rommie Martin officiating. Mole Funeral Home is assisting the family.
