Henry was born September 18, 1935 in Barnwell County to the late Benjamin Franklin and Maggie DeHay Padgett. He was a retired Mechanic from Millekin Textile after 40+ years of work. He served in the US ARMY during Peacetime.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 in the Bamberg County Memory Gardens at 1:00PM, with Rev. Farrell Ray officiating. The family will receive guests at Mole Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00AM to 12:00 Noon. Due to the Covid -19 social distancing will be required and masks are to be worn.
Henry is survived by his 2 sons, Alan (Vivian) Padgett of Cobleskill, NY and Christopher (Katrina) Padgett of Sharon Springs, NY, 2 daughters, Donna (Jimmy) Elkins of Hilda and Karen Padgett of Olar, a brother, Bo Padgett of Aiken, 16 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 3 wives, Denise Padgett, Vivian Padgett and Joyce Padgett, a daughter Theresa Liddle, brothers, Manley Padgett, Ralph Padgett and Russell Padgett, and a sister Myrtle Hutto.
