Johnnie A. (J. A.) Zorn, 76, passed away on Sunday March 25, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Barnwell County on September 26, 1941. He was the son of the late Johnnie M. Zorn and Mellie Adkins Myrick. J.A. was a truck driver for Barnwell County. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter, farmer and loved the outdoors. He was a loving husband, father and loving PawPaw to his grands and great grands. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 4pm in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marshall Still officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Lowe of Barnwell, daughter, Teresa (Skip) Zorn of Barnwell; son, Adam (Briana) Zorn of Cope; step sons, Richard (Jamie) Sargent and Jeremy (Wendy) Sargent of Barnwell; step daughters, Tami Arnold and Stephannie Sargent of Barnwell; one sister, Katie (Joe) Smith of Barnwell; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was predeceased also by his sister Patsy Vaigneur and step father, Joe Myrick.
The family suggest that memorials be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
