Obituary for JC Harley Funeral Service Change Due ToFamily Power Outage
Johnson C. "JC" Harley, 89, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Pruitt Health of Barnwell. JC was born on July 23, 1927 in Barnwell County. He was a son of the late Alex C and Mattie Ray Harley. He was a man with a sweet spirit, always smiling with a twinkle in his eyes. He loved his family and his friends and will be missed by them all. Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday in Friendship Baptist Church with burial in in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Funeral services. The family will also receive friends at the home of Mary Fail, 280 Butternut Rd. Olar SC Survivors include his sister, Mary Harley Fail of Olar; brother, John Harley Wade of Gaston; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Cap Harley and Esley Harley; four sisters, Barbara Creech, Eva Brown, Joyce Bodiford and Betty Gantt. The family would like to thank the staff of Pruitt Health for the love and care they showed JC while he was a patient (twenty six years) there
