Obituary for Jack Edwin Sanders
Jack Edwin Sanders, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at his home in San Diego, CA. Born in Barnwell County, he was the son of the late August Sanders, Sr. and Ethel Mae Hartzog Sanders. After a tour of duty in the US NAVY, he workd as a pharmacy technician in the naval hospital in San Diego. He had lived the past 60 years in San Diego. He was predeceased by three brothers, David W. Sanders, August Sanders, Jr., Fulton B. Sanders, three sisters, Olivia Sanders Verner, Thelma Sanders Taylor, and Margie Sanders De Priest. Jack is survived by one sister, Zilliah Mae Sanders Strother of Barnwell and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Mole Funeral Home on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:00AM with Rev. Fred Buchanan officiating. The burial will be private.
