Obituary for Jackie Christine Gray Young
Mrs Jackie Christine Gray Young, 71, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013 at her residence. Christine was born in born in Blackville SC on November 7, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy Wash Gray and Rachel Batchler Gray. She was a homemaker and a member of Seven Pines Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Thursday at Seven Pines Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Watford, Rev. Billy Mew and Dr. Ken Catoe officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery at the airport. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 pm at Mole Funeral Home. Survivors include her sons, Johnny (Phyllis) Fulmer of Barnwell SC and James (Jennifer) Fulmer of Olar SC; step sons, Ray (Dot) Young of Moncks Corner SC, David Young of Alabama and Wade Young of Oklahoma; brothers Jimmy Wayne (Kimberly) Gray of Barnwell, Hughie Gray of Orangeburg SC; sisters, Betty Barwick of Barnwell SC, Bonnie Gray of Bamberg and Barbara Ann Long of Bamberg SC. 6 grandchildren, four step grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Dan Young and a brother, Thomas Dean Gray.
