Obituary for Jacky Bodiford
Jacky Bodiford, 86, of Williston, SC passed away on December 9th, 2025. He was born in Barnwell, SC on July 25th, 1939 to the late Elma Ruth Bodiford and McLaurin Bodiford.
He retired from Milliken after 46 years of employment. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors, and helping to train horses. He loved cooking, and enjoyed sharing his brownies with neighbors and friends. He especially loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Scotty (Lynn) Bodiford of Easley, SC, Larry (Pam) Ramey of Salem, SC, and Karen (Rick) Kassiah of Williston, SC; grandchildren Brandon Bodiford, Bryan Bodiford, Summer Kelly, Bernie Harvey, Jamie Baughman, Crystal Gibson, Ricky Ramey, and Aaron Ramey; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters Nellie Rosier, Dianne Barber, and Arie (Bill) Murphy; brothers James (Faye) Bodiford, Donnie Bodiford, and Roy Bodiford.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bernice “Fair” Bodiford; daughter Lynn Bodiford Ritchie; sister Sybile Lain; and brothers, Ray Bodiford and McGee Bodiford.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Mole Funeral Home, with funeral services following in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM. Rev. Harry Warren will be officiating. Graveside will be held in the Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Barnwell County Animal Shelter, 55 Diamond Rd. Barnwell, SC 29812.
