Obituary for Jacqueline Cockrell Bearden
Jacqueline Cockrell Bearden, 68, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, SC.
Born in Charleston, SC on January 24, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Tenna Cockrell. She was a faithful member of
the Barnwell Church of Christ.
Jaci obtained her Masters Degree in Education and served in several school districts in South Carolina as well as several years teaching
in Alaska. She was a well loved member of the education communities she served faithfully and much loved in her home community of
Barnwell, her church family and most of all her beloved Bearden family.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 21th, 2021 at Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery (Airport) at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Southeastern Children's Home, P.O. Box 339, Duncan, SC 29334.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 20 years, Claude Jackson Bearden., Survivors include sons: Keith J (Karen) Bearden,
Kurt N (Kim) Bearden, Sr, of Barnwell, Kent R Bearden of Oklahoma, Kevin C Bearden and Kerek M (Robin) Bearden of Barnwell.
Grandchildren: Stephanie F (Chad) Mead, Sabrina L Bearden, Kyle J Bearden, Kurt N Bearden, Jr, Ryan A (Brittany) Bearden, Nicholas T Bearden,
Jake W Bearden, Brianna R Bearden, Kevin C Bearden, Jr, Tiffany Bible, Preston H (Amy) Bearden, Kerek N (Rubi) Bearden, Alexandria (Nic)
Morris, Noah C (Madison) Bearden, Caleb J (Ansley) Bearden. Great grandchildren: Payslee, Jax and River Mead, Luke and Tucker Bearden,
Natalie Hutto, Alanah Jones, Remmi Bearden, Remi Lynn Bearden, Miley and Levi Morris, Camila Bearden and Ellie Rose Bearden.
