Obituary for James Franklin Rountree
James Franklin “Frankie” Rountree, 53, passed away on January 20th, 2024 in Augusta, GA. He was born on July 31st, 1970 in Fairfax, SC to the late Perry and Bonnie Rountree.
He is survived by his daughters; Ashley Rountree, Erica Rountree, and Kimberly Rountree; grandchildren Keylee Rountree, Kalaya Buckmon, Kaydence Workman, Kenneth Odom, Kearselyn Buckmon, Mason Buckmon, and Nevaeh Rountree; siblings Jessie (Suzie) Elmore, Curtis (Trina) Rountree, and Zora Elmore; nieces and nephews Brandy (Chad) Bolen, Christy (Logan) Adams, Kendra (Gus) Rountree, Myranda (Charlie) Still, Jeanene Elmore, Rebecca Elmore, Michelle McDonald, Mindy McDonald, Tiffany Williams, Amber Williams, and Wesley Williams, as well as a number of great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brother, Wilson Elmore.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 24th, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Mole Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 25th, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Seven Pines Baptist Church, with graveside to follow in the Barnwell County Memory Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Mark Watford and Rev. Charles Morris will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Charlie Still, Chip Nolind, Todd Strock, Paul Hinckley, Chris Williams, Eddie Myers, Keegan Zissett, and Kenneth Odom.
