Obituary for James Michael "Jimmy" Brant
James Michael “Jimmy” Brant, 69, went to be with his Savior on July 25,2020 at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in Charleston SC.
Jimmy was born in Fairfax SC on July 12, 1951 a son of the late Grover Scott and Mary Eleanor Ayer Brant. He was a retired Rigger at the Savannah River Site. He was an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish. He loved to ride his motorcycle and cook bar b que for his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, July 30, 2020 in the Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, Olar, SC with Rev Charles Mosier and Chaplin Bill Youngblood officiating. Social Distancing will be observed. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-7 pm at Mole Funeral Home, Barnwell SC, with Social Distancing and Mask required.
Surviving are his loving wife, Dianne Creech Brant of Olar, SC; son Scott (Carlie) Brant of Olar, SC; daughter, Kimberly (Martin) Space of Hanahan SC, grandchildren, Andrew and Hunter Brant of Olar SC; Brother Harold (Anne) Brant of Olar, SC., several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Glenn Brant and Roger Brant and a sister Betty Brant Barr.
