Obituary for James Willard Creech SR.
James Willard Creech Sr. 77, of Barnwell SC passed away peacefully on January 15,2021 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Barnwell SC, he was the son of the late James Ansel and Eloise Still Creech. He married Dorothy Zorn, the love of his life in 1969, who survives him. Willard was also survived by his sons, James Creech and John (Paula) Creech and daughter, Joanna (Drew) Stevens; grandchildren, Courtney (Erik) Still, Cody Creech, Elizabeth (Mickal) Ferris, Will Creech, Luke Creech, Laney Stevens and Andi Stevens; great grandchildren, Emmy Benedict, Sadie Still, and Carter Ferris. He also leaves behind his sisters, Annette Delk and Sara Smith.
He was a life-long member of Friendship Baptist Church where he served on the cemetery committee for many years. He loved farming, working in his shop and spending time with his family.
A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, January 17,2021 in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ted Still officiating.
