Obituary for Jessie Lloyd Little, Jr.
Jessie Lloyd Little, Jr., 97, passed away September 11, 2017 at his home in Barnwell.
Mr. Little was born on November 24, 1919 in Quinton AL. He was the son of the late Jessie Lloyd Little Sr. and Ethal Alexander Scoggins. He served in the United States Navy and the United States Navy Reserve and was a retired Instrument Technician with Dupont. He was a member of the Barnwell First Baptist Church and Harmony Masonic Lodge of Barnwell.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00AM in the Barnwell First Baptist Church Chapel. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until time of service at the church. Mole Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife Angelene Pennington Corell Little of the home, his daughters Andrea Little Harrington of Chatham, MA, Judy Little Goldman of Jackson Beach, FL, Kathryn Little Youngblood of Martinez, GA, son, Jesse Lloyd (Laurie) Little, III. Of Vera Beach, FL 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, his step sons, Mark Corell of Barnwell, SC, and Alan (Brenda) Corell of Tampa, FL, step daughter in law, Melanie Corell of Barnwell, SC, 8 step grandchildren, and 16 step great grandchildren. He was predeceased by son in law W.W. Harrington, step sons, Ralph Corell and Letcher Corell.
