Obituary for Jimmie C. Delk
Beech Island SC paid obit Jimmie C. Delk, 84, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 in Pruitt Health of North Augusta SC Jimmie was born in Barnwell County on August 20, 1932. He was a son of the late Eddie and Annie Brant Delk. He was a retired employee of the Columbia Nitrogen Plant and a member of the First Baptist Church of Beech Island. He enjoyed repairing TVs and other small appliances and he loved his Ford Truck. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, November 26, 2016 in the Friendship Baptist Church of Barnwell SC with Pastors Frank Hyder, Greg Williams and Marshall Still officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Survivors include his wife, Faye Dicks Delk of Beech Island SC; daughters, Theresa Delk of Wrens Ga and Pam (Richard) Posey of Barnwell SC; grandchildren, Josh (Lacey) Zorn, Jessica (Luke) Lucas, Rodney (Courtney) Zorn, Russell (Becca) Zorn, Ashley Shipley and Jennifer Shipley; seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
